Health and Transformation Coaching on the Isle of Man
A structured clinical programme at Zhen Wellness in Onchan, built around your goals and current health. Longevity MOT assessment, EMS training, clinical body composition treatment, personalised nutrition, sleep optimisation, and weekly accountability coaching. Everything in one place, with treatment suitability assessed individually.
Why structured in-person clinical coaching produces outcomes that information alone cannot.

Why in-person changes what is possible
The clinical thinking that drives the programme works whether you are in the room or on a video call. What changes in person is the range of tools available. EMS training requires the client and the equipment to be in the same place. Radiofrequency body treatment, ultrasonic cavitation, acupuncture, colonic hydrotherapy, and LED photobiomodulation all require clinical contact. These are not supplements to the programme. For many clients, they are the elements that produce the change most efficiently.
For Isle of Man residents, the on-island programme is the most comprehensive version of the Zhen Wellness approach. The same clinical structure as the online programme, with the addition of every treatment modality available at the Onchan clinic. The assessment is more thorough. The treatment options are broader. The weekly reviews can combine a coaching conversation with a clinical treatment in a single appointment.
If you have ever tried to improve your health with information and found the gap between knowing what to do and consistently doing it difficult to close, the in-person programme addresses that gap specifically. The structure, the accountability, and the clinical treatments combine in a way that neither information nor willpower alone can replicate.
What the on-island programme consists of
Select each component to see what it involves and what it produces.
What is assessed in clinic
Blood pressure, resting heart rate, and cardiovascular risk profile. Body composition analysis. Review of current blood work and clinical investigations. Hormonal status and symptoms. Sleep architecture and recovery quality. Inflammatory load indicators. Energy, cognitive function, and mood. Musculoskeletal condition, mobility, and joint status. The assessment produces a complete clinical picture of where you are biologically versus chronologically.
Why in-person makes the assessment richer
A physical assessment adds dimensions that cannot be replicated online. Gait analysis, posture and movement quality, manual muscle testing, and palpation of tissue condition each provide clinical data that video consultation cannot. For adults with musculoskeletal contributors to their health picture, or where body composition is a significant variable, the in-clinic assessment produces a more complete baseline.
What you receive
A written clinical summary with your biological age indicators, primary health drivers, and a prioritised programme recommendation. The Longevity MOT costs £97 as a standalone assessment. Most clients leave with a significantly clearer understanding of what is actually driving their current health trajectory.
The clinical tools available at the Onchan clinic
These are not add-on treatments sold separately. They are clinical tools determined by your assessment and incorporated into the programme where they will produce the most meaningful change.
EMS training
Electrical muscle stimulation activates up to 98 percent of muscle fibres simultaneously during light movement. One 20-minute session produces the muscular stimulus of approximately 90 minutes of conventional training, with no joint load and no injury risk. Twice weekly at the clinic.
Radiofrequency body treatment
Clinical-grade multipolar radiofrequency targets subcutaneous fat and triggers simultaneous collagen remodelling. Addresses both localised fat accumulation and skin laxity in the same session. Particularly effective where hormonal change has redistributed fat centrally.
Acupuncture
Evidence-based acupuncture for sleep quality, stress physiology, autonomic regulation, and pain. A clinical tool within the programme for clients where these mechanisms are contributing to biological age acceleration. Not an alternative to the clinical structure, an adjunct within it.
Colonic hydrotherapy
Clinical colonic hydrotherapy for gut microbiome support, inflammatory load reduction, and digestive function. Relevant for programme clients where gut health is a contributor to the metabolic and inflammatory picture identified at assessment.
LED photobiomodulation
Specific light wavelengths stimulate mitochondrial energy production and accelerate cellular repair. Used as an anti-inflammatory and recovery support tool within the programme, and to enhance the collagen synthesis response following radiofrequency treatment.
RF facial and skin health
Clinical-grade radiofrequency facial treatment to reverse structural skin ageing, trigger collagen remodelling, and restore dermal density. Available as part of a comprehensive programme or as standalone clinic sessions for clients whose primary focus is facial skin health.
What on-island clients report after completing the programme.
"I had been dismissing how I felt for three years because I assumed it was just what getting older was supposed to feel like. It is not. Within six weeks of starting the programme I had more consistent energy than I can remember having in my early forties. The weight followed, but that turned out to be the less significant change."
M.C., 56
Douglas, Isle of Man
On-island programme, four months
Result
Nine kilograms lost. Blood pressure normalised. Energy and mood substantially improved.
"After my cardiac event three years ago I was told to lose weight and exercise more. My cardiologist did not have a programme for that. The Zhen programme gave me a structured approach built around my specific cardiac history. My cholesterol, blood pressure, and resting heart rate are all better than they were at 50. That was not what I was expecting."
D.H., 63
Ramsey, Isle of Man
On-island programme, six months
Result
Cholesterol reduced by 28%. Resting heart rate down 17 beats per minute. Twelve kilograms lost.
"The fatigue had been affecting my work, my relationship, and my ability to be the parent I wanted to be. I had been told my bloods were normal. The programme identified three things that were not optimal in those normal results and addressed all three systematically. I now function in a way that feels structurally different, not just temporarily better."
A.T., 44
Onchan, Isle of Man
On-island programme, three months
Result
Fatigue fully resolved. Sleep quality transformed. Cognitive function markedly improved.
"I had tried every diet that exists over twenty years. All of them worked temporarily. None of them addressed why I kept putting the weight back on. The programme addressed the metabolic picture underneath the weight rather than the weight itself. The result is the same but it has lasted, which is the thing I could not previously achieve."
G.W., 58
Peel, Isle of Man
On-island programme, five months
Result
Fourteen kilograms lost. Maintained at eight months post-programme. Blood sugar in normal range.

Who this programme is for
Isle of Man residents who want to improve their health with individual support rather than generic wellness advice. That may mean understanding changes in energy, strength or recovery, or working alongside your GP to address blood pressure, blood sugar or cholesterol. Recommendations depend on your goals, health history and suitability for the programme.
Adults who want the most comprehensive version of the programme, where clinical coaching is combined with in-clinic treatments in a single integrated approach. Adults who have tried previous programmes and found the gap between knowing what to do and consistently doing it difficult to close independently.
You do not need a referral. You do not need to be fit before you start. You need to have reached the point where what you have managed independently has not produced what you were hoping for.
Investment
The programme begins with a separate £97 Longevity MOT in-clinic assessment. Programmes start from £695 and are defined according to your clinical picture and the treatments included.
